Clean, quiet family campground with access to Lake Cumberland. Primitive and RV camping along with cabin rentals. Cabins fully furnished. All you need is your food.
Great campground, with great views. Good playgrounds, close to lake and boat ramps. Most sites have fire pits, but not all. No sewer, must use pump out station. Mostly level gravel sites, with moderate shade.
Had a great time. So beautiful. Everything you need close by.
Cabin rentals there are great. And they have awesome DirecTV to watch!
Been coming here for years and really enjoyed the primitive campsite. It really made you feel like you were out in nature until this year. This year I felt like it was in a redneck trailor park. Dogs barking, run down car squeaking, could not hear myself think for all of the damn generators in the primitive park. The generators were supposed to be turned off at quite time which was 11:00 pm. Called the front office several times and they assured me the constable would take care of this. I have not seen the constable once. I really hate that my request/concerns were ignored. I will probably not be back to this park and I would not recommend it to anyone that is looking for a nice quite / nature camping trip.
